King Card Tee

Inspired by the iconic Briskula (Briscola) card decks played throughout the Adriatic coast and Croatian homes for generations, the King Card Tee reinterprets traditional card illustration into a modern oversized streetwear graphic.

The back print features a custom double-sided king illustration, echoing the symmetrical style found in classic European playing cards, combined with Croatian checkerboard shields and bold heritage colour work.

The front graphic takes influence from vintage football sponsor layouts and old-world typography, giving the piece a nostalgic but elevated feel.

More than a graphic tee, this design is built around memory, identity, and community. The same card games played in cafés, kitchens, beaches, and family gatherings across Dalmatia and the Balkans inspired the visual language behind this release.

Briskula (Briscola) is one of the most recognised traditional card games across Croatia’s coastal regions and throughout the Mediterranean. Brought through generations of Adriatic culture, the game became deeply tied to Croatian family life, cafés, fishing towns, and social gatherings.

Traditional Briskula cards feature bold kings, swords, shields, and mirrored figures, artwork that inspired the central graphic of this piece. The king motif represents leadership, endurance, and legacy, while the checkerboard shield reflects one of the oldest symbols associated with Croatian identity.
